Christmas Crafts... What did you make?

Hey Gang!  The season is upon us!  It's time to break out the Christmas music, put up a tree, and get my house all glittery with beautiful ornaments.  Here are a couple of the Christmas Crafts that I am working on this year....   The first is some wooden letters from Hobby Lobby-- painted red and then brushed with ModPodge and red glitter added.

Next is my simple version of Christmas Subway art.. not sure if I have added enough words-- but I wanted it to be simple-- because I put a lot of greenery on my mantle, and you won't even be able to see half of the words at the bottom!

And finally, here are some christmas ornaments that I made with my mom this past weekend- using floor polish and glitter.  I added some vinyl letters with my new Silhouette Cameo (Which I adore).

It's not easy being so Crafty!! :)

I'm working really hard to expand my business and one of my goals this week was to get some things prepared for my amazing friend - Sharhonda from For My Princess Tutus to put in her display for this weekends upcoming craft show.   Check out the mess in my craft room!

Trash to Treasure time

I will admit something pretty wrong. lol When I drive down my alley, and people leave something cool out to be picked up for the trash-- I take it. But, only if it looks clean and cool.
And, by clean, I mean, not-smelly or food stuff. Furniture mostly. Stuff like end tables, ect. Well, this summer, I came across two train cases. I slowed down.. then thought-- those could be cool for something. Let me think about it... so I took em. hahah
This is what has become of one of them. I think I might give this to my tween-age cousin with some crafty stuff in it. She will love that! But, how do I get the 1970s smell out of that thing. I put some Sensi brick in there-- just to see if that will help for a bit.
The case was originally a really not so cute avocado color. So, this is a definate improvement. The color now is a really sweet aqua, kind of hard to see in pic.
Anybody that might ever read my blog on occasion have a suggestion???
